ADD A PICTURE INTO A THREAD / Ajouter une image dans un article
This forum can host pictures on it's server. The limit is 1meg/picture and 3 pictures/post. Otherwise you can host pictures on another server and there is no limit.
Ce forum peut héberger des images. La limite est de 1meg/image et 3 images/article. Vous pouvez également héberger vos images sur un autre serveur ou un blog.
Attach a picture (or any document) / Joindre une image
Clic on the Add Attachment icon and upload your file. Pictures will be displayed at the end of the post.
Cliquez sur Add Attachment et télécharger votre fichier. Les images appareissent en bas de l'article.
Add a picture hosted on another server or website. / Ajouter une image hébergée sur un autre serveur / site web
Clic on the little picture icon, copy-paste the direct link to your picture.
Cliquez sur le petit icône en forme d'image, copiez-collez l'adresse url directe de votre image.

To add more than 3 pictures into a post (for example to share your entire collection), you have two simple possibilities:

1) The pictures you want to share are on your blog or website or FTP.
Right-clic on the picture > view picture > copy the url of the picture.
L'image se trouve sur votre blog ou site internet. Faîtes un clic-droite sur l'image, et copier l'adresse de cette dernière.
2) If you haven't any blog or FTP, you can host your pictures on tinypic.com without registration
Tinypic has the advantage to be extremely simple. You can upload a picture without any registration, it gives you the IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards, just copy and paste it into the thread to add the picture. (You can also register for free to create albums.)
Si vous n'avez pas de blog ou de serveur DTP (site internet), vous pouvez héberger vos images sur un site de partage tel que tinypic.com. Il a l'aventage de ne pas nécessiter d'inscription et est très facile à utiliser. QUand l'image est téléchargée, copiez l'adresse (IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards) et recopiez directement ce code dans votre article. Vous pouvez également utiliser Photobucket.

please remember that the pictures resolution for web is 72dpi (pixel/inch), 300dpi is HQ for printing only. To big pictures can take time to charge and be very boring.

Better are your pictures, better we will understand the object. Color management can be very important with glass. Remember a very basic rule: set the correct color balance on your camera. The sun for natural sun light, the light bulb for incandescent 'old' classic bulbs (that gives an awful yellow color if the camera is set on sun light), and the neon for fluorescent color, usually for neons or economic bulbs. It is better to never mix different light sources (sun+bulb). Automatic color balance can be a solution but sometime can be tricky.
If you don't have Adobe Photoshop, you can install Gimp, a free opensource program (version for MAC) www.gimp.org. (for windows:
You can also use pixlr.com/editor/, whis is free and online. So you don't need to install any program on your computer! Works with MAC and Windows.
La gestion des couleurs peut être cruciale, afin de comprendre correctement l'objet présenté. Un bon réglage de la balance de couleur sur l'appareil photo est primordial. Le soleil pour la lumière naturelle, la petite ampoule pour les sources incandescentes à ampoules classiques (sinon l'image apparaît jaune), et le petit néon pour les sources fluorescentes, néons et certaines ampoules économiques. La balance auto peut aider mais peut aussi jouer des tours.
